Lisa M. Ghidotti
Lisa is currently the Government Relations Specialist for the Office of Government Relations and Health Policy, representing the interests of both Virginia Commonwealth University as well as VCU Health System. Lisa is responsible for monitoring and analyzing policy and research in the areas of Higher Education, Administration, and Health. Additionally, she handles communications for the office, including annual and quarterly reports and website development. She responds to and resolves constituent issues for the University and Health System. Additionally, she works with the Governor’s Administration, the General Assembly and the Virginia Congressional Delegation on matters of mutual interest.
Lisa previously was an Office Manager in the Division of Student Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University, in University Housing and Residence Education. She currently sits on the following VCU committees: University Substance Abuse Committee, Council for Community Engagement, Staff Senate, CommonHealth, and is a former member of the Recreation Sports Advisory Committee.
Lisa is a 2001 graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science, and a 2004 graduate with a Master of Science degree from the VCU School of Education. She is currently obtaining her Master of Public Health degree from the VCU School of Public Health, with a focus in global health and emergency preparedness.
