The Office of Government Relations
for VCU and the VCU Health System
The Office of Government Relations provides comprehensive governmental relations services for Virginia Commonwealth University and the VCU Health
System. The Office serves as a liaison between the Governor's Office, the
General Assembly, agencies of the Commonwealth, Richmond City Council, and local
boards of supervisors, as well as with Virginia's congressional delegation.
In addition, Government Relations is the chief lobbying group for VCU and the
VCU Health System. It cultivates relationships with elected and appointed
government officials in an effort to secure financial and legislative support.
The Office is responsible for these activities on the local, state, and federal
levels.
